Appleton Museum of Art Introduces Inspired Speakers Series

The Appleton Museum of Art, College of Central Florida, introduces the Inspired Speakers Series. These monthly presentations are a new addition to the museum’s programming, featuring individuals who are not only experts in their fields, but also an inspiration to others. Appropriate for all ages, speaking topics are multi-disciplinary and range from fine arts, photography, dance, fashion, and beyond.

Kicking off the 2017-2018 season is a talk by Emmy award-winning Mark Emery. With an extensive background in production, music and photography, Emery’s love of the outdoors shines through in his work. Emery will share his passion and stories at the Klein Center in the Ewers Century Center at the Ocala Campus of the College of Central Florida on Sunday, Nov. 19, 2-4 p.m. This event is free for Appleton members, CF students, staff and faculty; $10 for nonmembers. Purchase tickets in advance at AppletonMuseum.org or call Visitor Services, 352-291-4455.
