The website Schools.com has ranked CF the No. 5 community college in Florida.
The website used a 10-point scale to calculate each school’s score in six categories: percentage of students enrolled in distance education, total cost of attendance, student-to-faculty ratio, graduation rate, acceptance rate of transfer students into the State University of Florida System and flexibility.
CF ranked fifth mainly because of the percentage of distance education students, with half of the student body taking some coursework in the online learning environment. CF’s also had the fourth-highest graduation rate among all schools surveyed offering associate in arts and associate in science degrees and three bachelor’s degrees with five specializations.
