Companion to American Literature Now at CF Library in E-book Form

The CF Library has added “A Companion to American Literature”, a three-volume set from Wiley-Blackwell, to its electronic holdings. The work traces the history and development of American literature from its early origins in Native American oral tradition to 21st century digital literature. In various ways, its 92 chapters address the social, political, geographic, domestic, and material contexts in which American literature has been produced. The important influences of race, ethnicity, gender identity, and class on American literature are a central part of many chapters. The title was purchased with CF Foundation grant funding.
