At the Association of Florida Colleges and Career and Professional Employees Council Appreciation Breakfast, Jesse DelPrado from Advising passed the Whale Done Award to Cheryl Metz from Admissions and Records. Jesse shared how Cheryl helps to resolve critical issues with students that would otherwise delay their enrollment at the college. With the recent implementation of the new Customer Relationship Management/online CF application, there were some inevitable hiccups and Cheryl has helped to reduce the impact of that on students and advisors by working diligently to help us resolve issues as they were recognized.
The Whale Done award is a traveling trophy which is passed quarterly from the current award holder to another person on campus who has gone above and beyond in service to the college and/or that individual.
