The college will host a lecture about the global state of education for girls and young women Monday, Sept. 12, from 4 to 6 p.m., at the Webber Center. Guest speaker Juan Prawda, former deputy under-secretary in the Mexican Ministry of Education and lead education specialist in the World Bank, will discuss women’s struggle for equality and lessons learned in economic and social development.
