‘Celebration of Dance Education in Marion County,’ Dec. 7

CF’s Dance Ensemble will host a “Celebration of Dance Education in Marion County” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, in the Charles R. Dassance Fine Arts Center. The evening will reflect how dance in education has directly impacted our schools and local college. The event features CF’s Dance Ensemble, directed by Rebecca G. Lott, choreographer/adjunct dance instructor for CF; Howard Middle School after school dance program and Madison Street Elementary School dance program both led by choreographer and dance educator Shelia Rutulo; Belleview High School Diamondback Dance Company, led by choreographer and dance educator Cate Mease Martin; and the West Port High School Marion County Center for the Arts dance program.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for non-CF students. CF students, faculty and staff are free with CF identification. The box office is located in the lobby of the Fine Arts Center and is open Monday through Friday from 1-4 p.m. and an hour before show time.
