CPEC Offers ‘Reading People’ Workshop

June 13, 2023 @ 8:30 am - 9:30 am

All staff and faculty are invited to “Reading People, Body Language and Detecting Suspicion and Deceit,” a professional development workshop presented by Dr. Henri Benlolo, on Tuesday, June 13.

Body language is as important in communication as speaking, reading and writing. When we communicated nonverbally, we rely on signals to indicate what we mean and to express our emotional state at that time. Learn how to detect suspicion, deceit and lies in the use of hands, arms, face and body expression.

This workshop will be offered twice on Tuesday, June 13: 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Both sessions will take place in the Stearns Learning Resources Center, Room 112.

To register for this professional development opportunity offered by the Career and Professional Employees Council, please contact Lois Kohlweiss at ext. 1656 or kohlweil@cf.edu and indicate which session you will attend.
