Canceled-Diversifying Florida’s Economy through Investment: State and Local Perspectives, April 8

CF will host an economic summit on “Diversifying Florida’s Economy through Investment: State and Local Perspectives” Wednesday, April 8, in the Ewers Century Center.
 
The first panel, 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., will feature Sarah Arteaga, director of the Regional Economic Information Network of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, Jacksonville Branch; Dr. Jerry Parrish, chief economist and director of research of the Florida Chamber Foundation, Tallahassee; and Dr. Dean Snaith, professor and director, Institute for Economic Forecasting at the University of Central Florida, Orlando.

The second panel, 5:30-7:30 p.m., will feature local speakers Dr. James Henningsen, president, College of Central Florida; Chad Christianson, CEO of Ocala Health; Hugh Dailey, CEO and president of MidFlorida Community Credit Union; Tom O Mara, managing partner, Eligius Advisory LLC; Kevin Sheilley, President of the Ocala/Marion County Chamber and Economic Partnership; and Michelle Stone, county commissioner for Marion County Board of County Commission; and Sandra Wilson, interim city manager for the city of Ocala.
