MEGA Monday: Breast Cancer is Not Just for Older Women, Oct. 21

Join us for MEGA Monday on Oct. 21, from 12:30-1:45 p.m. in the Humanities and Social Sciences Building 8, for a discussion on breast cancer. While breast cancer is more common in older women, it doesn’t discriminate. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 11 percent of new breast cancer cases in the U.S. happen in women 44 or younger, and those are typically more aggressive cancers. Learn what you can do to help lower your breast cancer risk. Food and giveaways will be provided.
MEGA Mondays are an opportunity to discover the amazing service learning opportunities our students are participating in! Each session, new topics and guest speakers are presented, varying from animal rights to rape prevention.
