The CF family is invited to walk around, ask questions and view poster presentations about evidence-based practice by the graduating Associate Degree Nursing students on Tuesday, Oct. 22, from 1-3 p.m. in the Ewers Century Center. Some of the nursing topics include: does vaping help with smoking cessation, does aromatherapy in the workplace reduce stress for nurses, is CBD oil more effective for pain than opioids, how does virtual reality compare with analgesics for pain, are there more error rates in the hospitals when nurses work 12-hour shifts instead of 8-hour shifts, do less patients assigned to nurses in the hospitals improve patient outcomes, how does heroin assisted treatment compare with medication assisted treatment for heroin addicts and more.
