Attention all Florida Blue members, there will be some updates to your Florida Blue pharmacy networks for the 2019 plan year.
To help lower costs and save you money, we’re changing our pharmacy network in the new benefit year. Starting Jan. 1, 2019, your network pharmacy will feature Walgreens. You’ll find Walgreens has lower prices on many prescriptions. That means you’ll often pay less when you have a deductible to meet. Or if the drug costs more than your copay, you’ll pay the lower price.
CVS-owned pharmacies will not be in your pharmacy network in the new benefit year. You’ll still have many pharmacy choices. In addition to Walgreens, you can choose from Publix, Winn-Dixie, Walmart, and many smaller retailers and independent pharmacies. You’ll learn more about the pharmacy network during open enrollment.
