Get Ready to Make a Choice!
To be covered through a CF medical plan in 2023, you’ll need to choose one of the new plans during open enrollment. Here’s a quick list of action items as you prepare for open enrollment:
- Attend a meeting to learn about the new plans:

Time: Choose either 10-11:30 a.m. OR 1:30-3 p.m.

- Visit representatives on campus to learn more about Voluntary Benefits (Dental, Vision, Long-term/Short-term Disability, Cancer Coverage, Hospital Supplement (GAP) Coverage). Click HERE for more info on voluntary benefits.
- Citrus Campus: Oct. 17, Charles S. Dean Sr. Educational Center, Room 103, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
- Ocala Campus: Founders Hall Conference Room, Room 105, on the following dates/times:
- Oct. 18, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
- Oct. 31, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
- Enroll in your benefits between Oct. 24 to Nov. 4. Enroll by Nov. 4, 2022.

- Get individualized help with enrollment by attending an Open Lab in the Stearns Learning Resources Center, Room 117D:
- Oct. 25 OR Oct. 31 from 10 a.m.-noon
- Oct. 27 OR Nov. 3 from 2-4 p.m.
- If you don’t enroll by Nov. 4, 2022, your 2023 medical coverage will be defaulted to the Employee Only PPO Gold Plan.

DV Plan Option (Delta Dental / VSP Vision) – This plan is for CF full-time employees who waive health coverage with the college. The DV plan covers employees only, no dependents, and is paid 100% by the college. No Plan or Rate Changes for 2023
Ameritas Vision – No Plan or Rate Changes for 2023
Ameritas Dental – No Plan or Rate Changes for 2023
The Standard Life Insurance
Basic Life (20K) – Paid 100% by the college
Supplemental Life – Provided in 1X, 2X and 3X Salary Increments – No Plan or Rate Changes for 2023
Dependent Life – Rates have Increased:
Choice 1: $20,000 Spouse/$10,000 Child(ren). $4.00 per member /per month. (formerly $3.16)
Choice 2: $10,000 Spouse/$5,000 Child(ren). $2.00 per member /per month. (formerly $1.68)
Choice 3: $5,000 Spouse/$2,500 Child(ren). $1.00 per member / per month. (formerly $0.79)
