Hunt for the Wilderpeople – Nov. 7

International Film Series will present “Hunt for the Wilderpeople,” a 2016 film that will tug at your heartstrings and make you laugh out loud.

“Hunt for the Wilderpeople” will be shown Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. in Building 8, Room 110, at the CF Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road.

Raised on hip-hop and foster care, defiant city kid Ricky gets a fresh new start in the New Zealand countryside. He quickly finds himself at home with loving Aunt Bella, Uncle Hec (Sam Neill) and dog Tupac. When a tragedy strikes that threatens to ship Ricky to another home, both he and Hec go on the run in the rugged New Zealand bush. A national manhunt ensues, as they fight for family.

This film is in English. It is a PG-13 movie with a total run time of 102 minutes.
