CF students, faculty and staff now have access to Mergent Intellect by FTSE Russell, a web-based resource of worldwide business information enabling users to generate insightful business intelligence. Included are data from 280 million private and public U.S. and international businesses, industry news, executive contacts, industry profiles, key business ratios, demographics and consumer lifestyle data, all easily exportable into Word or Excel documents.
Beyond business students and faculty, Intellect would also be useful for job seekers and personal investors. It replaces the Hoover’s database formerly provided through Florida Virtual Campus. Look for training events coming soon.
Access Mergent Intellect as you would any of our library databases, by logging into MyCF first, then clicking on Library and Search Library, then on the Database by Subject tab and look under Business. For more information, contact a librarian at ext. 1345.
