Map a Personal Path to Health

We are excited to announce that effective Jan. 2, 2018, the College of Central Florida will  start a new wellness platform through Florida Blue named Better You Strides, powered by CafeWell. Please keep in mind, with this new change also comes the termination of our current wellness platform, Blue Rewards, effective Dec. 31, 2017.

Map a Personal Path to Health with Better You Strides.
The health of our members is important to us. That’s why we’re introducing Better You Strides powered by CafeWell, an online personal wellness program that can help members reach their health goals. Better You Strides will replace WebMD on Jan. 2, 2018.

Better You Strides focuses on the needs and interests of each member to design a personalized path toward better health. With Better You Strides, each member gets:

  • A health assessment that provides a picture of their overall health.
  • A Personal Health Itinerary®, a custom-made plan to help them reach their personal health and wellness goals.
  • Access to activities, challenges, articles, videos and coaching sessions.
  • Tools to help track their progress toward success. Many connect with popular fitness apps and wearable devices to make tracking even easier.
  • Program support anytime, anywhere through the CafeWell® mobile app.
  • A chance to earn rewards for healthy activities.
  • Look for more information about Better You Strides soon.

Move Personal Health Records to WebMD.com before Dec. 31.
On Jan. 1, Personal Health Records created through WebMD will no longer be available through Florida Blue member accounts. Members who want to save information in their Personal Health Record should transfer the contents to a separate account on WebMD.com before Dec, 31. Here’s how:

  • Login to floridablue.com and click on the Health & Wellness tab.
  • Find the WebMD box on the right side and click Get Started.
  • Click on My Health and choose Personal Health Record.
  • Find the It’s Your Health Record box on the right side of the page.
  • Click Setup Access through WebMD.com Now.
  • Follow the instructions on the screen to go through a simple, automated process to create a username and password for the new account.
  • Click agree to the transfer of health information to the new account.

After the transfer, take these steps to see the information in the new account on WebMD.com:

  1. Go to www.webmd.com/phr
  2. Click Sign In in the Already Have One? section of the page
