An interview with Dr. Ron Cooper is included in “Stray Dogs: Interviews with Working Class Writers,” from Down & Out Books, which was released in October. This book is a companion to the anthology “Stray Dogs: Writing from the Other America” (2014), which included an excerpt from Cooper’s Novel “Purple Jesus.”
The Student Activities Board Mock DUI program won the Exemplary Practice Award from the CPEC Commission of the Association of Florida Colleges. They delivered a presentation about the program at the AFC Annual Conference in early November.
