In education, student engagement refers to the degree of attention, curiosity, interest, optimism and passion that students show when they are learning or being taught. Attend this short workshop on Wednesday, Feb. 7, from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. located in the Learning Resources Center, Room 117D, and leave with some helpful ideas for encouraging student engagement.
