Your CF United Way committee is busy planning fun activities for faculty and staff to be involved during the annual United Way workplace campaign that will kick off on Sept. 30. Three activities will include the annual United Way auction, a Whose Shoes photo contest and Two Truths and One Lie game.
United Way Auction: The auction will be Oct. 14 through Oct. 18. A catalog of auction items needs to be created as soon as possible. Items donated in the past have included gift certificates, desserts, plane rides, gift-wrapping services, hand-crafted items and lots of other great stuff!
Please let Cara Bennett, etc. 1447 or bennettc@cf.edu know by Friday, Sept. 27, if you’re willing to donate an item for the auction this year. The following information will be needed:
• Your name
• What you plan to donate, with a complete description (unless it’s self-explanatory)
• Any photos available
Whose Shoes Photo Contest: Submit a picture of you in your shoes (just the shoes, since this is a guessing game) to Jessica Kummerle by Friday, Sept. 27 if you are interested in participating.
Two Truths, One Lie Game: Is there something on campus that most people don’t know about you? Send us your two truths and one lie with the answer key to Jessica by Friday, Oct. 4. This will be another guessing game to those that participate in donating.
Winners will be announced at the final thank you event on Oct. 31.
