Debra Vasquez Memorial Poetry Series

The CF Debra Vasquez Memorial Poetry Series will host poet Rick Campbell, author of seven volumes of poetry, for a reading, discussion and book signing on Wednesday, April 13, 12:30-1:45 p.m., in Building 8, Room 110 on the Ocala Campus.

Campbell’s poems and essays have appeared in journals including The Georgia Review, Prairie Schooner, Gargoyle, Fourth River, Kestrel, and the Alabama Literary Review. He teaches at Florida A&M University and in the Sierra Nevada University MFA Program. His latest book, “Gunshot, Peacock, Dog,” reads like an extended elegy for the poet himself, for his lost loved ones, and for the changes in the wider world.
