Personal Finance and Economics Seminars

CF is hosting two free seminars to help students, the community and local businesses learn more about personal finance and business economics.
A personal finance seminar on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 6-8 p.m. in the Ewers Century Center will feature Marc Stalvey, financial advisor with Edward Jones Investments, presenting “Foundations of Investing;” Carrie Drake, service center manager for CAMPUS USA, presenting “Understanding Credit and Credit Scores;” and Jeromy Williams, owner of Chick-fil-A Ocala, presenting “The Basics of Financial Responsibility.”
An economics seminar on Thursday, Nov. 3, 6-8 p.m. in the Ewers Century Center will feature Sean Snaith, Ph.D., presenting “Perspectives on Sustainability and Adaptability of Business in the Post COVID-19 Era.” Snaith is the director of the Institute for Economic Forecasting at the University of Central Florida.
