Monday, November 4, the current Whale Done! Award holder, Jeanine Cady, Hampton Center Coordinator, passed along the award to her nominee, Stanley Ruger from Public Service. Her remarks included:
“I want to thank you for allowing me the opportunity to pass along the Whale Done! Award. The moment I received this award, I knew without a doubt, who I was passing it to. With the idea behind the Whale Done! Award being to recognize and appreciate the efforts of a fellow CF employee, it is very easy for me to choose this person and not think twice.
In a position where being professional, responsive, informative, dependable and engaged is crucial, this person checks all the boxes! He greets everyone with a warm smile and a genuine question of “How’s it going?”, as he truly cares about the well-being of others around him.
If I have not yet mentioned it, this person really is one of a kind and someone that I am honored to work with and have as part of our CF family. Often going above and beyond to help everyone and anyone, his level of kindness and natural instinct to help is immeasurable. Always up for a challenge, as we joke that everything crazy at the Hampton Center happens on his shift, he faces it head-on and sees it through to the end, never leaving a job undone. With this being said, I am pleased to pass the Whale Done! Award on to Mr. Stanley Ruger-Public Safety Sergeant, or as we like to call him “Stan the Man”.
Be sure to congratulate Stan on his award. From all CPEC employees at CF, we are honored to have a coworker like you!
