Math Awareness Day: Hidden Mathematics in Ordinary Careers

The Math department will host its annual Math Awareness event on Wednesday, April 16, 12:30-2 p.m., entitled, ”Hidden Mathematics in Ordinary Careers.” The event will take place in the Main Hallway of Building 7( Math Building). There will be features on the importance of how the subject plays in many different career fields. The Math department will also be joined by the CF STEM Club. Mathematics is a huge part of the STEM discipline. In addition, there will be important information that displays the vital role the subject of Math plays in a career perspective. There will be quizzes pertaining to the subject of math, free food, drinks, giveaways and prizes.
