The College of Central Florida’s Ira Holmes International Film Series is celebrating its When I’m 64 anniversary season with films from around the globe and special events that pay tribute to the best-selling music act of all time: The Beatles.

The season will launch with a series-first event at the Ocala Downtown Square. The family-friendly Kickoff Celebration on Saturday, Oct. 4, will include a Beatles karaoke party followed by a sunset screening of “A Hard Day’s Night.” The series presents a full season of films, film talks and special events.

All films will be shown Tuesdays at 2 p.m. at the Appleton Museum of Art, 4333 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala, and at 7 p.m. at the College of Central Florida, 3001 S.W. College Road, Building 8, Room 110, unless otherwise noted. Films at the Ocala Campus are free and open to the public.
