The District Board of Trustees have just approved a change to the academic calendar: all College of Central Florida campuses will be closed for Washington’s Birthday on Monday, Feb. 16. The college will reopen Tuesday, Feb. 17.
This holiday closure is part of Governor Ron DeSantis’ statewide commemoration of America’s 250th birthday.
On-campus and online courses and activities on Feb. 16 will be cancelled, and the CF Post Office on the Ocala Campus also will be closed. Some off-site activities, such as clinicals, may continue with regular schedule. An email will go out to all CF students notifying them of the holiday closure, and faculty will notify the students scheduled for clinical activities.
Have a safe and enjoyable long weekend.
