Blackbird Bound: Visual Verses Exhibit

Six local artists have re-imagined Wallace Stevens’ haiku-inspired poems “13 Ways of Looking at a Blackbird” in paintings and sculptures.
Visual sensations in the poems and artworks include winter landscapes, geometry and fairy tales. All play with point of view and perception. This delightful exhibit displays selected artworks alongside Stevens’ poems, pairing art with literature. Open to students, faculty, staff and the community, the exhibit runs through Oct. 28 during regular Citrus Campus hours. This exhibit is located in Building 2, Upper-Level Exhibit Space adjacent to the library, and is made possible by the CF Foundation.
