A Perfect Review: SACSCOC Reaffirmation of Accreditation

From Dr. Henningsen:

Team:

I just got out of the exit conference with our Southern Association of Colleges and Schools – Commission on Colleges accreditation team that is charged with conducting our 10 year reaffirmation of accreditation process for the whole college. They have been here since Monday reviewing our compliance with the accreditation standards and conducting a lot of interviews and document reviews.  The results are preliminary, but I am extremely excited to report that the committee reported ZERO findings!!  That’s a perfect review!!  This is the first time in my career to score a 100 on the “final exam” and its not an easy feat to achieve.

Thank you to all involved directly in the review process, especially Dr. Tammi Viviano-Broaderick, for her leadership and excellent work and to the whole CF team for displaying excellence in all that we do.  I received many positive comments about the beauty of our campuses, friendliness of our team, strength and engagement of our students, strength of our campus culture and how well prepared we were for the review.

I’m going to use a movie quote that someone out there may recognize. “This was an all-hands job.”  Hint, it is from a Tom Hanks movie.  No using AI or google search for the answer. This kind of result doesn’t happen without great college-wide team work and a commitment to the mission we have serving our students and community.  We ALL showed our Patriot Pride!  Well done CF Team! I couldn’t be more proud!
