Alcohol Inks Art Workshop, Saturday, Oct. 14

CF will host a free Alcohol Inks art workshop Saturday, Oct. 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Building 3, Room 105, at the Citrus Campus. Participants will receive an overview and demonstration of alcohol inks from instructor Bonnie Peterson, and then create beautifully unique bookmarks and tiles.

Highly pigmented alcohol inks are used to add color to non-porous surfaces such as plastics, ceramics, glass and metals. For more information or to RSVP, contact Michele Wirt at wirtm@cf.edu or 352-746-6721, ext. 6131.

Peterson has been a multimedia artist her entire life. She attended the Pratt Institute in New York as well as The School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. Peterson proudly served our country in the U.S. Army, as a communications specialist, spending time in Alabama, Georgia, and overseas in Karlsruhe, Germany.
