Appleton Inspired Speakers Series: Kate Stone

Don’t miss out this Sunday, Feb.18, 2 p.m. in the Ewers Century Center for the next featured speaker in the Appleton Museum of Art Inspired Speakers Series.

The third talk features Kate Stone, an accomplished 14-year-old ballet dancer who began her training at the age of six. In February 2016, at the age of 12, Ms. Stone was the recipient of a ground-breaking, fusionless spinal surgery for severe scoliosis, at Shriners Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This surgery allowed her to retain the full mobility and range of motion in her back that is so important for those who dance. She is now training for approximately 35 hours, six days a week at the prestigious Orlando Ballet School Academy, regarded as one of the finest training academies in the world.

This event is FREE to all CF students and Appleton members; $10 for the public. Tickets may be reserved or purchased by clicking here.
