CF Presents Chamber Music Concert April 29

The College of Central Florida’s Visual and Performing Arts Department will present a chamber music concert April 29 at 3 p.m. at the Webber Center, Ocala Campus.

The concert features the String Ensemble, under the direction of Marina Tucker; the Brass Ensemble, led by John D. Ash; the Trumpet Ensemble, led by Andrew Moore; and the Saxophone Ensemble, led by Gregory Snider.

“The spring chamber concert features four of the college’s chamber ensembles: string, brass, trumpet and saxophone. Each will play an eclectic mix of music, ranging from light marches and jazz influenced numbers to significant classically oriented compositions,” said Dr. Sarah Satterfield, professor of music. “Come out to enjoy the music and get into spring and summer mind set.”

Admission to the concert is $12 for adults, $6 for non-CF students. CF student, faculty and staff are free with valid ID.
