COVID-19 Update-Moving Forward

March 23, 2020

Good Morning CF Team:
A lot has happened since we left for spring break. While we were away from campus, our COVID-19 response team met frequently via conference call to make decisions on how to keep our employees and students safe, and to identify the support needed for faculty and staff to finish up the semester in an online format. Our IT team worked to secure additional infrastructure for the online shift, and our custodial staff has begun the elevated sanitizing procedure at all sites.

We continue to be focused on the health and safety of our team, our students and community. In the coming week, our goal is to ensure that we are positioned to move all classes online beginning Monday, March 30. As a reminder, all classes are canceled this week to keep students off campus and to allow our team time to switch to online.

As we settle into the day and begin to look at next steps, I ask you to remain nimble. This situation is still fluid and I expect we will have to continue to make adjustments through the week ahead. We ALL need to support each other during this challenging time. Our Employee Assistance Program is also available 24/7 if you would like confidential services https://benefits.cf.edu/EAP.html.

Please remember to adhere to the guidelines of no more than 10 people to a single space and utilize social distancing. Please review CDC guidelines below:

Please remain positive while we navigate these trying times. We are one team and together we are stronger. #CFSTRONG
