CF Book Club, Nov. 20

The CF Book Club will meet on Wednesday, Nov. 20, from 12:30-1:45 p.m. on the Ocala Campus in the Learning Resources Center, Building 3, Room 112; and available through ITV for Citrus and Levy employees.
We’ll be discussing Colson Whitehead’s latest novel, “The Nickel Boys,” with Mae Sand leading the discussion. The novel dramatizes a disturbing strand of American history through the story of two boys sentenced to a hellish reform school in Jim Crow-era Florida. Whitehead’s last novel won the 2016 National Book Award for Fiction and the 2017 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction.
Those interested can bring their lunch and ideas for future books to discuss. All faculty and staff are welcome. Drinks and light snacks will be provided on the Ocala campus.
