Communications Department Hosts Book Signing
Dr. Judy Haisten, CF senior professor of foreign language, will feature her new book, “The Pirates of Panama, From Sir Francis Drake to Admiral Edward Vernon,” at a book signing on Monday, April 10, 12:30-1:30 p.m. in Building 8, Room 110.
Her collection of compelling stories of significant pirate raids in the country of Panama is drawn from archival sources, rare books and acclaimed scholars. Dr. Haisten was raised in the Canal Zone, Panama, where her family lived for more than 25 years. She began teaching at CF in 1994.
