‘Deeper South: Merging Art with History’ at the Appleton
Art, history and education come together in Charles Eady’s work. The Ocala artist, author and educator will present “Deeper South: Merging Art with History” at the Appleton Museum of Art on Sunday, Feb. 27, at 2 p.m.
The talk is free and open to the public with no registration required.
Eady is the author of “Hidden Freedom: The South Before Racism” and uses art to examine the lives of those living in the South before the Civil War.
