CF is hosting a Farm Share food distribution for the community on Friday, Dec. 9, at 8 a.m. Attendees from the community will be entering the Ocala Campus from the main entrance on State Road 200, driving through the Ewers Century Center parking lot, Lots 1 and 2, and exiting to Southwest 20th Street.

The following parking lots will be closed the morning of Friday, Dec. 9: 40 East, 40 West, 1, 2, 4 East and 4 West. Parking lot 4 will be reserved for volunteers.

CF students, faculty and staff are invited to help distribute fresh food to local residents on a first-come, first-served basis in a drive-thru format. If you are available to volunteer and you have cleared it with your supervisor, please call 352-562-0514 to sign up.

This food distribution is being hosted in partnership with Rep. Joe Harding, Rep. Yvonne Hinson, Ocala City Councilmember Ire Bethea and Farm Share. Farm Share is an equal opportunity nonprofit provider which distributes more than 88 million pounds of nutritious food throughout Florida each year.
