The College of Central Florida Library invites you to join them Wednesday, March 6, 12:30-1:30 p.m., in the Stearns Learning Resources Center for “Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings: How the Region Influenced and is Reflected in Her Work,” presented by Florence M. Turcotte and Anne Pierce. This promises to be a fascinating discussion on the works of Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings, exploring how the landscape and culture of our region inspired her literary imagination and writing. Refreshments will be offered, and the first 25 students will receive a copy of “The Yearling,” Rawlings’ 1939 Pulitzer Prize winning story. RSVP to Faithe Ruiz at ruizf@cf.edu.
