Museum Day and Open House, July 6
The Appleton Museum of Art will present the annual Museum Day and Education Open House on Saturday, July 6, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. There is no fee to attend.
All ages are invited to enjoy the permanent collection, special exhibitions and ARTSpace. Special exhibitions on view include “Do Not Bleach: Stephanie Brown,” “Urban Chatter: Sharon Kerry-Harlan” and “Familiar Beauty: Drawings by Vicki Jones.”
The education department will host an open house where visitors can watch art-making demonstrations in the studios and in the café, meet the staff and teachers — and even create some art!
