National Library Week MEGA Monday Speaker, April 5
National Library Week is April 4-10. Join the CF Library as they celebrate with two online events on “Politics:How it Works and How You Fit In.” Explore this topic with Dr. Judithanne Scourfield McLauchlan, founding director for Center for Civic Engagement and associate professor of Political Science at the University of South Florida.
Monday, April 5, at 12:30 p.m. hear “Politics is Not a Spectator Sport: How to be an Active and Effective Citizen.” This is a MEGA Monday event. Then on Wednesday, April 7, at 12:30 p.m. hear about “The Supreme Court at Work: a Behind-the Scenes-Tour.”
Prize drawings will be held for both programs and for the Supreme Court Trivia Quiz.
