‘Next Text’ Exhibition Opens Thursday
“Next Text,” an exhibition of visual art featuring words, opens Thursday, Oct. 6, at the CF Webber Gallery. The exhibition will be on view through Oct. 27.
The collection of work by multicultural artists from across the country showcases an intriguing display of storytelling through the use of text in the visual arts. The exhibition was curated by CF Professor of Art Tyrus Clutter and Sheila Goloborotko, an associate professor of printmaking at University of North Florida, whose artwork has been featured in past exhibitions at the Webber Gallery.
An opening reception will be held Thursday, Oct. 6, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Webber Gallery hours are Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and admission is free. For more information, call ext. 1552.
