“Pre Fab!” Screening and Post-fil Talk with Todd Thompson

This month, as part of the Ira Holmes International Film Series, “Pre Fab!” has been called “the last Beatles story to tell about how it all began.” The film chronicles the rise of skiffle music and its impact on post-World War II British youth, the influence of American Rock ‘n’ Roll and how, in 1956, a boy named John Lennon rounded up friends including Paul McCartney and George Harrison to form a group called The Quarrymen.
Join us Tuesday, Oct. 14 at either 2 p.m. at the Appleton Museum of Art or at 7 p.m. on the Ocala Campus. This is a special screening event with a post-film talk with Todd Thompson, director of Orlando’s Star North Films. He is an Emmy-nominated creative director, producer, writer and storyteller who has enjoyed a career both in front of and behind the camera, and he has more than 20 years of experience working with the Walt Disney Company and other well-known brands.
