‘Selections from the Permanent Collection’ at Webber Gallery

“Selections from the Permanent Collection” is a curated glimpse into the hundreds of works contained in CF’s public art collection. This sneak peek into the college’s treasure trove features art by local and national artists as well as alumni.

The exhibition will be on display at the CF Webber Gallery Feb. 16-March 11. An opening reception will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 23, at 12:30 p.m.

Staff and faculty are encouraged to attend the show for the chance to select new artwork for their office spaces. The opening reception is a perfect opportunity to personally request and reserve artwork to be displayed in other buildings. However, before requesting artwork, please make sure you get the appropriate permissions from your department head to switch the art in your workspace.

“This exhibition provides a wonderful insight into the extensive art collection owned by the college,” said Associate Professor Tyrus Clutter. “This exhibit allows viewers to see various pieces, rarely seen together in one place, before they are disseminated and installed in various locations throughout CF’s many campuses later this year.”
