“Understanding Autism” Presentation
Join us on Thursday, Oct. 5, at 10 a.m. for a conversation about how to support students with autism on CF’s campuses.
On Professional Development Day, Dr. Liso from the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) will present “Understanding Autism” in Building 8, Room 110. She will discuss how autism is a developmental disorder that is characterized by social, communication and behavioral challenges. She will share information on how autism is also characterized by unique strengths in memory, creativity, attention to detail and integrity.
