Volunteers Needed for Farm Share Distribution, June 25
CF, in partnership with the office of Sen. Keith Perry, is hosting a free food distribution event through Farm Share on Thursday, June 25, on the Ocala Campus. Volunteers are needed from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. If you are interested in volunteering during work hours you must obtain approval from your supervisor. To volunteer, email Jessica Kummerle, at kummerlj@cf.edu, by Wednesday, June 24.
Farm Share is a non-profit organization based in Jacksonville founded to distribute fresh food free of charge to families, children, seniors, and individuals in need throughout Florida. It delivers more than 88 million pounds of healthy and nutritious food each year.
