Wear Your Wings Domestic Violence Walk, Oct. 5
CF employees are invited to attend the Wear Your Wings domestic violence walk on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 8 a.m., at the Ocala Police Department 402 South Pine Ave. to honor domestic violence victims. The walk honors former CF Associate Professor Debra Vazquez, who lost her life in 2004 as a result of domestic violence. Vazquez taught English, literature, and creative writing at CF for many years and established “Imprints” literary magazine, serving as advisor of the award-winning publication until 2004.
