New 3D Human Anatomy Atlas Available Online

CF students and faculty now have access to Visible Body’s Human Anatomy Atlas, a 3-D graphic database from Ovid showing more than 6,000 anatomical structures. It should prove useful to students of Anatomy & Physiology, as well as Health Sciences. A downloadable app will enable smart phone users to use the database. Instructor’s computer stations in classrooms should have the graphic capability to open the database and project it to the class. Internet Explorer is recommended for using Visible Body on Windows computers.

To get to Visible Body, after logging into MyCF, go to the Library’s alphabetical list of databases and look under V, for Visible Body.

Our sales rep will be happy to schedule a training session for individual faculty or groups of faculty.

We thank the Ocala Royal Dames for Cancer Research for financing this year’s subscription to Visible Body!
