Whale Done! Award holder, Cydnie Martinez Mercado, passed along the award to Annette Browne, Instructional Assistant III, Health Sciences. Cydnie had this to say about Annette:
“I would like to nominate Annette Browne. Annette’s warmth and gracious spirit have touched the lives of many, creating an environment filled with encouragement and joy. Regardless of the nature of her visit, whether it is to report an issue or simply provide support, she demonstrates a remarkable understanding of our work while simultaneously spreading positivity and uplifting those around her. She listens and makes everyone feel seen. This is something I personally would like to thank her for, as there have been many times where just a simple interaction has meant more than she knows. Thank you for being an outstanding example of kindness and optimism.”
