United Way pledge cards are now being collected, and the annual United Way silent auction is set to begin soon. Forms are available from Linda Sagendorph, ext. 1415. Congratulations to Jean Imes who turned her form in early and won a two-night stay at Old Finemore Mill Condominiums.
Your United Way donation stays in your county of residence. Someone you know may have benefited from United Way help. The Boys and Girls Club, Marion Senior Services, PACE Center for Girls and Shepherd’s Lighthouse are just a few of the organizations that are aided with funds given to United Way. You may also earmark your contribution for the Patriot Fund, and your donation will go to provide assistance to CF students when financial emergencies occur – emergencies that might cause them to fail to complete their education. Every dollar counts, and every dollar makes a difference. YOU can make a difference.
