The annual CF/College Park Elementary School Read-In is Wednesday, Oct. 17, from 7:45-8:45 a.m. at College Park Elementary School, located at 1330 S.W. 33rd Ave. in Ocala. The college is looking for 55 volunteers so that every classroom can be covered at the school. To participate, contact Kelly Besser at kelly.besser@cf.edu or ext. 1386.
I read to Mr. Braden’s 4th grade class.
I read “SkippyJon Jones.” This was my first exposure to this story. I absolutely loved it! The most memorable moment for me was during Q&A at the end of the story, I was asked by one of the students the following, “can you stay?”
