Last Week to Sign up….Open Enrollment Ends at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1!

The last workshop is Thursday, Oct. 31, 2-4 p.m., in the Professional Development Center Computer Lab, Learning Resources Center, Building 3, Room 117D.

Before logging into the system to sign-up, make sure you have completed the following checklist.

1.  Make sure your mailing and physical addresses are correct in CF’s system. That is how you will be contacted about open enrollment and how your eligibility for any HMO health plans will be determined.

  1. You can check your address in the MyCF portal under “My Payroll Information.”
  2. To update your address, use the Address Change form located on Inside CF under Human Resources Forms.

2. Have your letter from the state with you. It has your user number and password.

3. Gather dependent verification documents for dependent coverage.

  1. If you add a spouse or children to your plans during the Open Enrollment period, you will be required to provide Proof of Dependents within 90 days of the election or they will lose coverage until you submit the documents.
  2. You will be required to upload dependent verification documents to the People First website.

4. Get familiar with your options. The state offers a robust website and a Benefits Guide to help you better understand the benefits offered. The State is in the process of updating information for 2025 on the myflorida.com webpage.

  1. The current benefits guide can be found here.
  2. The 2025 premium rate chart can be found here.
  3. The pharmacy plan and network under the State Plan are not the same as our current plan. If you take prescribed medications, it is recommended that you review the State Plan’s pharmacy formulary for your current medications before Dec. 31, 2024. This information can be found here.
