Congratulations to Marissa Brown, CF’s assistant director of admissions and student recruitment, who was recognized on Jan. 29 as the Take Stock in Children Alumni of the Year!
Marissa benefitted from the Take Stock in Children program as a student and serves as a volunteer mentor through the Public Education Foundation of Marion County.
The Take Stock in Children program provides a two-year tuition scholarship for underserved youth and provides students with college readiness and success coaching. The Public Education Foundation of Marion County has a huge need for additional mentors to commit just one hour a month to help change students’ lives.
