Energy Performance Contract

The College has entered into a Performance Contract Agreement with Siemens Industry, per Florida Statute 489.145 Guaranteed Energy Performance Savings / Florida Statute 1013.23 Energy Efficiency Contracting. This allows the College to implement energy projects based on future energy savings. The scope of work includes a new West Campus Chilled Water Plant at the Ocala Campus, a Virtual Plant & Underground Chilled Water Infrastructure at the Ocala Campus, college-wide LED Lighting Retrofits, O2 Prime AHU Improvements at the Ocala Campus, Citrus Campus HVAC Upgrades, and Appleton Museum HVAC Automation Improvements. The Ocala West Campus Chiller Plant and the Underground Chilled Water Infrastructure require underground directional boring to run new lines to buildings. You will notice flags and fenced-off areas indicating where this work will take place. Please be mindful of all construction fencing and signage to ensure your safety. The College-Wide LED Lighting Retrofits are already underway. Please allow time to adjust to the new lighting and contact Plant Operations if there are any concerns. Spaces are being sanitized after work is performed.
